Zorro and Esperanza 2016
2 April 2016. I had the opportunity to photograph this pair of Osprey at a friend's house in Maryland (undisclosed location). It was great to be very close to them. I watched them mate; and later Zorro brought back sticks to the nest. It wasn't a very sunny afternoon, so I hope to get back soon on a better day. In any case, I really enjoyed seeing these two beautiful Osprey's.
16 April 2016: I went back again on a sunny day. This time the two took turns sitting on their eggs. Not sure how many there were.
6 June 2016: I had the opportunity to see the three "kids". Esperanza was feeding them while Zorro looked on. He later took flight.
25 June 2016: The Three Musketeers are getting bigger! It was a beautiful afternoon and watching this beautiful family was pure pleasure. Thank you Emily for being so generous by sharing your Osprey family with me.
