Snow Buntings

26 November 2016: This was a rare sighting of snow buntings, which are from the arctic. They migrate south for the winter. I saw three snow buntings at the North Point State Park near Baltimore. It was wonderful to see such beautiful birds. They didn't see afraid of humans. I (along with a few other photographers) kept our distance while we watched them feed on grass seeds and walked around on the pier rocks. I have a bunch more photos to edit, so come back again soon.
