Bald Eagle Nest in Maryland (Monitoring)
I recently volunteered to become a bald eagle nest monitor in Maryland. I was assigned a specific nest, in which I will monitor it for several months. I’m looking forward to seeing this family grow. I will be adding photos as things progress.
The first several photos are of one eagle incubating the eggs….at least I hope that’s what she’s doing. I estimate this based on the fact she was laying low and for at least an hour. The other eagle rested in nearby trees.
